Terms of use

These terms cover use of crewbytext.com and our introduction service. Paying shops also sign a contractor agreement. If the signed agreement and these terms conflict, the signed agreement wins.
The service
Crew by Text introduces screened HVAC technician candidates to contractor shops, primarily in the Orlando, Florida area. We send short profiles. The shop interviews and, if it chooses, employs the technician. We do not employ the technician. We do not dispatch. We do not guarantee a hire, start date, or tenure.
Plans
Starter, Crew, and Fleet are month-to-month subscriptions for a set number of delivered candidates. A delivered candidate is a screened HVAC profile provided to the shop with a working contact method. A dead or unreachable number is replaced and does not consume quota. Silence from the shop after delivery still counts as delivery.
Fees
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, you pay the monthly plan, not a percentage of salary, and not a fee only if you hire.
Shop responsibilities
The shop is the employer. The shop is responsible for interviews, offers, I-9, wages, insurance, driving records, background checks, and workplace safety. Do not treat our profile as a background check or a consumer report.
Tech responsibilities
Techs confirm their own certs, license, and right to work. Lying about credentials is grounds to drop you from the list.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to harass, scrape, or circumvent our introduction records.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, Crew by Text is not liable for lost jobs, overtime, empty vans, property damage, or other consequential damages arising from a hire or a no-hire. Our total liability to a shop is limited to fees that shop paid us in the prior 12 months.
